A deeply relaxing Ayurvedic therapy in which a gentle, continuous stream of warm oil ( sometimes milk, buttermilk, or herbal decoctions) is poured over the forehead, specifically the “third eye” area. The steady flow calms the nervous system and promotes a meditative state.
Benefits include:
It’s especially loved for its grounding, mind-soothing effects—many people describe it as “mental massage.”
This treatment will begin with a short Marma flow focusing on the head, face, neck and shoulders. From there as the shirodhara begins, a thin stream of warmed oil will be continuously poured over the forehead (30-40 minutes). Once the pour has finished, another short Marma flow will conclude the treatment, along with ample time to rest, allowing excess oil to drain and be cleaned up.

This traditional Ayurvedic healing therapy works with marma points—vital energy centers in the body where muscles, nerves, bones, joints, and prana (life force) meet. Gentle, precise touch or pressure is used to balance energy flow and support the body’s natural healing ability.
Benefits include:
It’s a subtle yet powerful therapy, often described as both physically therapeutic and energetically calming.
A "Marma flow" will be performed by holding gentle, steady pressure at certain points on the body for 1-2 minutes at a time. Typically the flow will be done in a comfortable, supine position on a massage table. However, depending on what issues we are treating, you may be required to lay on your belly or side. This treatment is performed fully clothed and it is important to note this is not a massage treatment.
